School Uniforms

Uniform Tops

Solid navy, hunter green, or white “polo-style” knit shirts (long or short sleeves with a collar). T-shirts are not allowed. Long or short-sleeved button-front shirts are permitted. Visible undershirts must be solid white, blue (not light blue), or hunter green only, with no patterns or prints. No logo sweatshirts are allowed in class. Solid-colored sweatshirts or hoodies in school colors are permitted.

Uniform Bottoms

Navy blue, khaki/tan, or approved plaid*. Jumpers, shorts, skirts, and skorts should be no shorter than four inches above the knee. Jumpers or skirts may be blue, hunter green, khaki, or *approved plaid only. Blue or khaki uniform slacks, shorts, and skirts are allowed. Jeans or sweatpants are not permitted. Leggings are not allowed—bottoms must have pockets. Sagging below the waist is not allowed—belts are required. Socks and tights must be solid white, black, blue, or hunter green with no patterns or prints, unless *approved plaid. Cargo pants or shorts are not permitted.

*Approved Plaid: The plaid can be Dennis Uniform “Bel Air” or Lands’ End “Hunter Classic Navy.”

Classes

Please inform the office if your class has earned a Free Dress Day by submitting a copy of the prize.

Students

Free Dress Passes can only be issued by the office and are valid on Fridays only (some exceptions may apply).

Free Dress Day Dress Code

Students should wear clothing and shoes that allow them to safely play or participate in P.E. activities (e.g., bending, jumping). Families will be contacted to bring appropriate clothing if necessary.

• No excessively torn jean shorts or pants, or rips/tears above the knees (leggings must be worn underneath).
• No see-through tops or excessively short shirts, shorts, or skirts.
• Pants must be worn at the waist without showing undergarments (belts may be required).
• Negative or hate messaging or logos are not allowed.
